Editor’s Note - Below is the official statement of the Free Syrian Army. It is from the collective of the Sunnis, Christians, Kurds, and Druze, along with their other minority population who strive in a bloody battle for freedom against those who break the laws of humanity, and commit acts of extreme evil upon our brothers and sisters in Syria and elsewhere.
In addition, LFP and SUA also agree – these barbaric acts are reprehensible, we condemn them, and we wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to the families, colleagues, friends, and the many loved ones of those lost to this act of violence.
Official Communique from the desk of
General Malik Kurdieh , Deputy Commander of the Free Syrian Army:
We, in the Free Syrian Army, declare our condemnation of the attack against the US consulate in Benghazi, along with the killing of the US Ambassador and his companions, and we consider the attack, to be against the international rules of law, against the teaching of Islam, and against honest Arab values.
As we stand firmly against extremism, radicalism, and terrorism; we call for international justice to protect the right of the oppressed nations and the respect of various religions as we condemn the provocative critics against the noble Prophet of Islam.
We call on the entire world to embrace the struggle of the Syrian nation for freedom – to stand with its just cause for freedom and stop the suffering and killing of innocent people .
On behalf of the Syrian Revolution, we present our deep condolences to the American nation, to the families of the late Ambassador and his companions lost in this great tragedy.

Christopher Stevens, Ambassador of the United States to the people of Libya - Rest in peace sir, and may your staff members lost with you also find peace and eternal rest!
